CANOE TRIP DAY!

What an incredible day at the New River!Our morning kicked off with Morning Watch delivered by Pine, followed by the flag raising led by Grandfather cabin.

We fueled up for the day with a delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs, biscuits, and fruit, complete with lots of laughs around the tables.

Today was our traditional canoe trip! We split into two groups to take on the river. The first group hit the water around 10:30 AM, heading out for a full day of adventure downstream.

For lunch, everyone enjoyed sandwiches, chips, apples, and a special treat of Oreo cookies.

The second group set out around 2:00 PM and wrapped up their journey just in time for dinner. Speaking of dinner, we had a delicious meal of spaghetti with bolognese sauce and Caesar salad.

For our evening program, we held Skit Night! Every cabin and leadership team presented, and it was "stomach-pain" levels of funny, we haven't laughed that hard all week.

Our jam-packed day finally came to a close with flag lowering by Rogers and a peaceful vespers service led by Hoffman.

What a day!
