MONDAY 7/13

MONDAY

The rain could not stop our fun!

The day started with rain, but we were ready for a fun time ahead of us. To start off the morning, we had Flag Raising done by Craig and our typical Morning Watch delivered by our Leadership staff.

For breakfast, we had bacon, pancakes, and lots of fruit. The day started off with a lot of indoor activities like basketball, arts and crafts, Just Dance, and ping pong. Those fishing by the shore caught some good fish and appreciated the beautiful rain.

For lunch, we had corn dogs, pasta salad, and carrots, with sweet tea! Every day we do cabin cleanup, and we have a prize for the most and least cleaned cabin. Today’s Honor Llama (the most cleaned cabin) went to Whitetop, Hoffman, and Pine, and our Dirty Duck went to Rogers.

The afternoon was less rainy, and we got to enjoy more of the outdoors with hatchet throwing, gaga ball, and 9-square.For dinner, we had chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans, and the famous coffee cake by our Chef Chris.

Our evening program was RiverFest, and we had a lot of water games for people to enjoy.

Our night ended with flag lowering by Rogers and Vespers delivered by Hoffman.

What a beautiful rainy day!
