Tuesday 6/2

The day began with a camp breakfast of muffins and cereal as campers eased into the morning. The skies were a little cloudy but our weather team was happy to report that the sun would make an appearance later in the day! Spirits were high as everyone prepared for another exciting day at camp! After breakfast campers headed off to their morning activities, ready to make the most of their day.

Despite the cool start, it turned into a fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, and great actives across camp. Campers stayed busy all morning with kayaking kickball, golf, and archery! By lunch, everyone had worked up an appetite and was treated to a delicious meal of chicken tenders, onion rings, and of course brownies for dessert! Lunch also came with a surprise, our Swedish friends Ingrid and Gustave put on a performance revealing one of the most anticipated events of the session...skit night!

As the day went on, the clouds cleared and a beautiful afternoon settled over the mountain. Campers enjoyed their afternoon activities before heading back to their cabins to practice their skits! A big night of performances were ahead so they needed to prepare. After cabin time, everyone gathered for cookout! We had a great spread of brisket, chips, salad, and Oreos! As dinner ended, rain began to lurk around the corner so skit night was then moved to the gym! Campers came, got their store, and settled in for the performances. There were so many amazing skits!! From Trolls to Annie to Micheal Jackson, it was a great night! Rain or shine, camp always finds a way to make the day special!
