Happy Wild West Wednesday! Today we began our day with French toast, sausage, and fruit for breakfast. The Navajo cabin made a guest appearance in Gar's morning weather report to help us get our day started.
After breakfast, our CREW campers set off on their hike to Stone Mountain while everyone else returned to their cabins to begin cleaning up. Campers swept floors, cleaned porches, and made beds before venturing out to their first two activity periods. Throughout the day, campers enjoyed their activity periods, making memories with friends and trying new things around camp.
For lunch, we had chicken tenders, onion rings, and blondies for dessert. Delicious! We even had a surprise visit from two Dancing with the Stars judges looking for their next group of talented campers. This could only mean one thing... campfire!!
Campers headed back to their cabins to rest up before their afternoon activities. We welcomed back our CREW campers at the beginning of third period, and we are so proud of them for hiking over 8 miles!!!
Later this afternoon, cabins met with their porchmates to begin planning their skits for campfire. We all joined together for a cookout dinner on the field. Cabins enjoyed brisket, salad, chips, as well as lots of music and dancing.
Campers grabbed their Store and headed to the Cheerio Amphitheater. The night wrapped up with so many amazing skits from our campers, as well as a few very special staff skits!
