Today we kicked off our first session of coed camp with a delicious breakfast of biscuits, eggs, grits, and of course... bacon!! Afterward, campers and counselors headed back to their cabins for cabin clean-up. A little bit later, everyone headed to their first and second activity periods. Campers participated in a variety of activities, including skeet shooting, riding, paddle sports, and arts and crafts!

After a very busy morning, it was time to refuel! Today we had chicken patty sandwiches, tater tots, corn, and lemon bars! Once lunch was cleaned up, cabin clean-up scores were announced. Shout-out to Lakota, Mohican, Comanche, Tuscarora, and Cree for winning honor chain today! Before third and fourth activities, we had a much-needed rest period.

Campers had a blast at climbing, cheer and tumble, lacrosse, and the pool, as well as many other activities this afternoon. Following fourth period, campers met back up with their counselors and cabinmates for cabin time! They spent time together at various activities getting to know one another before making their way to the dining hall for tacos and churros! Dinner ended with a surprise guest: spies wandering the dining hall, announcing the evening program… spy hunter! Cabins ran around camp hunting for other backpack and water-gun cells before heading to store for ice cream, candy, and sodas. We ended the night in our vespers area to reflect on our amazing day before heading to bed. We can't wait for another great day tomorrow!
