3C: July 27th – August 2nd

Today at camp began with a hearty breakfast of pancakes, fueling our campers for the adventures ahead. While our Crew Campers set out on their hike up to Stone Mountain, the rest of camp jumped into morning activities with enthusiasm. Energy filled the air as campers explored, created, and strengthened individual skills. After a satisfying lunch of crispy chicken tenders, onion rings, and peas, everyone enjoyed an extended rest period—a perfect mid-day reset before diving into the afternoon.

Our Crew hikers made their way back to camp, sprinting down the Green Mile and splashing triumphantly into the pool to the cheers of their fellow campers. Their determination and excitement were contagious. As the sun dipped lower, campers headed back to their cabins to prepare for the evening’s big event: CHIDOL! Dinner was a classic cookout featuring chopped pork sandwiches, hushpuppies, and chips—fuel for the performances to come.

The evening lit up with creativity and spirit as cabins competed in CHIDOL, performing skits and dances in front of a cheering crowd. Huge congratulations to Pawnee and Seminole for placing first! Each cabin brought their unique flair, making it a night to remember. As the applause faded and stars filled the sky, campers returned to their cabins buzzing with joy and pride, winding down after a truly unforgettable day.
