5..4..3..2..1..BLAST OFF! The 2nd graders have been learning about Newton's Third Law and the force it takes to get a rocket out of our atmosphere. The students saw how a balloon rocket mimics how an airplane flies and an Alka-Seltzer rocket to demonstrate how a rocket takes off. Here at Nysmith, science is FUN!
