What an amazing Thursday we had today! We began our day with muffins and cereal for breakfast, and then had a great weather report from Gar! After breakfast, campers went back to their cabins to begin cabin cleanup.

This morning, some of our campers headed off for Cheerio on the New River to go canoeing! Everyone had a blast at their morning activities, going on trail rides, playing mini golf and soccer, and enjoying all the fun camp had to offer. Following first and second period activities, we all headed to the dining hall for lunch! Today we enjoyed meatball subs, sweet potato fries, and cake! After learning our cabin cleanup scores for the day, everyone got to enjoy an extended rest period.

This afternoon, campers headed to their third and fourth period activities, where they climbed at the Vertical Playpen, shot skeet, and went fishing. Everyone rejoined their cabins for cabin time and got to spend time together at activities around camp!

Tonight for dinner, we had chicken Alfredo! Two of our queens came out after dinner, which could only mean one thing... Thrive!! Everyone was divided into two teams, where we played an awesome game of elevated capture the flag. Congratulations to the Red Team for winning!

After Thrive, everyone picked out their store snacks and spent some time dancing, playing 9-square, and Gaga! Tonight, we had a wonderful vespers prepared by our last-year campers about friendship. It was so special to hear just how much Camp Cheerio means to them.
