Today marked the final day for our 4G campers, and what a great way to close out the session!
We kicked off the morning with a tasty breakfast of french toast, sausage, and fruit which gave us the energy we needed for our morning game of Thrive. Big congrats to the Cree and Blackfoot cabins for having the cleanest cabins this session. Nice work!
Campers headed back to pack up a bit and get ready for our cookout lunch featuring yummy burgers. Afterward, an extended rest period gave everyone time to reset before open activities. Campers had the freedom to explore any part of camp and hang out with their friends doing their favorite things.
Then it was time for some cabin bonding as campers put the final touches on their skits and talents for Performance Night. Dinner was classic Cheerio steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, slaw, and, of course, that famous chocolate truffle cake.
The evening show didn’t disappoint. We saw everything from singing and dancing to cheer and tumbling. It was a fun and relaxed way for everyone to show off the skills they’ve picked up over the past two weeks. To wrap up the day, we all walked to the lake for the Closing Ceremony, where we recognized first-year campers, club milestone achievers, our final-year campers, one Honor Camper from each cabin, and the overall Camp Honor Camper—someone who truly embodied kindness and leadership. We finished the night with a slideshow full of camp memories from the week.
Thanks to everyone who made 4G at Camp Cheerio so special. We’re already counting down the days until next year!
