Thursday

What a fantastic, action-packed day its been for our Cheerio campers! From sunrise to sunset, the energy was high and the smiles were nonstop. We kicked off the day with a yummy breakfast of Cronuts (Crossiant X Donut) and cereal—fuel for a full day of fun! Campers who signed up to go on the canoeing trip left for Cheerio on the New River right after breakfast and had a great time! Lunch featured a camp favorite: Meatball subs, followed by chicken alfredo. Huge shoutout to Martyn and our incredible kitchen staff for keeping us so well-fed and happy!

Campers made the most of another beautiful day outdoors, diving into their activity rotations with even more confidence and excitement. A little rain storm came but that did not stop us! We danced, played games and did some fairy hair while we let the storm pass. We're so proud to see them stepping out of their comfort zones—whether that’s conquering the High Ropes course or taking the plunge down the big lake water slide!

At lunch, we celebrated our Honor Cabin of the day: Pawnee They kept their spaces sparkling clean—congrats, campers! Can they take the title again tomorrow? We'll see!

This evening we had Twilight activities- campers were able to be free and go around the camp enjoying their favorite activities and new ones such as the slipping slide ! We had our 3rd day of TILLIES and it is always so exciting to see what everyone got.

To close the day, The Yavapai Cabin led a heartfelt vespers at the Blessing Chapel. We’re so grateful for days like these and the amazing campers who make this place so special.
