We started things off with Morning Watch led by Stone Mt. then had breakfast that was a mixture of sweet and savory with cinnamon rolls and cheesy grits along with fresh fruit and fruit juice.
For the second day of activities campers have started to learn so much! We had several campers complete archery challenges and others catching multiple fish! After the first activity periods we refueled with chicken sandwiches, tater tots, salad and rice crispy treats.
Whitetop and Grandfather earned the Honor Llama for the cleanest cabins and the Dirty Duck was given to Stone. We will see what cabins can avoid Dirty Duck tomorrow!
In the afternoon campers continued their activities, from getting the hang of boating to hatchet throwing. Afterwards for dinner, it was taco tuesday! Campers enjoyed their choice of nachos or tacos with ground beef, cheese, lettuce, salsa and sour cream. Ending with lemon bars with blueberry drizzle for dessert.
We ended the night on an exciting note with a game of spy hunter! Then to close out the night we did flag lowering and listed to a Vespers service led by Grandfather on the importance of integrity and how they act with integrity in their own lives.
