Rain Can't Stop the Fun!

Day 2 started with Mount Hoffman leading our Morning Watch, followed by delicious cinnamon rolls and peaches for breakfast! Campers headed out to their first activity periods under cloudy skies but with huge smiles. The morning was packed with tree climbing, snorkeling, fishing, and volleyball. For lunch, we enjoyed chicken patties, and Rice Krispies treats for dessert. It was raining outside, but everyone was thrilled to cozy up with a warm, feel-good meal.The new gym continues to be a camper favorite, hosting non-stop basketball and pickleball matches. Even though it rained heavily during cabin time, that didn't stop the Stone cabin, they spent a full hour happily playing 9-Square outside in the elements! Dinner was taco Tuesday and for dessert, we indulged in amazing lemon bars topped with a homemade blueberry syrup made by Chef Chris.We wrapped up the day with our RiverFest evening program, featuring tons of games and a slip-and-slide. We finished the night with a beautiful Vespers service delivered by Pine Mountain.

It was truly an adventurous day!
