Sunday 7/19

Campers started the morning with a simple and satisfying breakfast of cereal, yogurt, and bananas before heading out for another day of adventure. Our CITs (Counselors in Training) worked hard to prepare a meaningful church service this past week, demonstrating their leadership and dedication. They were able to present their service to the whole camp in the morning.

Lunch featured a comforting meal of chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans, giving everyone the fuel they needed for an exciting afternoon. The highlight of the day was our annual Cheerio Olympics! Campers were divided into five spirited teams—White, Yellow, Blue, Green, and Red—and competed in a variety of challenges held all around camp. Teamwork, determination, and camp spirit were on full display as everyone cheered each other on and gave their best effort. After an afternoon of friendly competition, the White Team emerged victorious and earned bragging rights as this year's Cheerio Olympics champions!

As evening arrived, campers enjoyed a special cookout for dinner. Boy cabins invited girl cabins to join them for a fun meal together, and everyone enjoyed hot dogs while spending time with friends in a relaxed outdoor setting. The excitement didn't stop there! The day ended with a neon glow-themed dance, where campers lit up the night with bright colors, great music, and plenty of dancing. It was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible day filled with friendship, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
