Thursday 7/16

Thursday 7/16

What a great Thursday we had today! We started the day with cinnamon rolls for breakfast which were a huge hit! After that campers headed back to their cabins for another chance at cleaning to win honor cabin. When the bugle rang, everyone headed out to their first two activity periods. Campers loved getting to practice their dance and guitar routines, shoot skeet, and climb the climbing towers.

After morning activities, everyone refuled on cold cut sandwiches and chips. Yum! We learned our honor cabins for the day before heading back to cabins for rest period. Later this afternoon, everyone enjoyed more of their activities! Gaga ball and 9-square were a fan favorite today.

Campers and counselors enjoyed cabin time together before heading over to the dining hall for dinner. Tonight we had steak fajitas! Suddenly we had two surprise visitors running through the dining hall with waterguns searching for clues, meaning only one thing... spy hunter!

For evening program, cabins were split into three teams and then into watergun and backpack cells. Campers ran all around camp trying to decode secret messages in order to earn points for their team. Shout out to the blue team for winning!

We ended our night with store and a great vespers by the Lakota cabin. We are so excited to do it all again tomorrow!
