Tuesday 7/14

After a rainy day yesterday, we sure were happy to have some sunshine today! After a fantastic breakfast of cereal and muffins, Gar's weather report predicted a day full of sunshine and super weather. Cabins then headed back to clean up in hopes of winning Honor Cabin today!

We luckily got to resume normal activities this morning, and campers enjoyed making slime at Experiments, shooting skeet, and riding horses. After our morning activities, everyone gathered in the dining hall for lunch. Today we had meatball subs with sweet potato fries and lemon bars! We then heard everyone's cabin cleanup scores. Congratulations to Cree for being our only Honor Cabin today!

This afternoon, we all headed to our third and fourth activity periods after a much-needed rest period. Campers enjoyed paddleboarding as well as cooling off in the pool and lake! Campers even got to catch a glimpse of the World Cup game in between activity periods.

Later on, cabins gathered together to enjoy quality time with each other. Some cabins chose to continue watching the World Cup game before heading to the gaga pits, gym, and clubhouse!

Tonight for dinner, we enjoyed chicken pot pie and green beans. Delicious! After a great meal together, a surprise visitor and a few dinosaurs came in. This could only mean... Dinosaur Egg Hunt!!

After being placed on one of two teams, cabins searched all around camp for dinosaurs and their nearby dinosaur eggs. Congratulations to the Black Team for winning! After the Dinosaur Egg Hunt, everyone got to enjoy Store outside together and spend time with their cabins. We had a great vespers this evening put on by the Maricopa cabin. Everyone is so excited for another amazing day of camp tomorrow!
