After a great opening day, campers began settling into their cabins and getting to know their new cabinmates and counselors. Everyone then headed to the gym field to continue playing games before taking their cabin photos and completing the swim test!

We then all joined together for a cookout dinner with hot dogs, chips, and Oreos! Campers dressed in their best wacky tacky outfits, followed by dancing and energizers! However, dinner took a wild turn when Dorothy, Scarecrow, and the Great and Powerful Oz made all of the senior counselors disappear! That could have only meant one thing... Counselor Hunt!!

Cabins began searching around camp to find all of the senior counselors stationed at various camp activities. We then headed back to the gym for Store, where campers chose a drink, snack, or ice cream to enjoy with their new friends!

Afterward, we headed to our vespers area, where our senior counselors prepared a wonderful end to the evening by talking about camp values and goals for the week. We are so excited for an amazing 2C session and can't wait to see what these next two weeks hold!
