Wednesday 8/5

The Christmas spirit was alive and well at camp today! Campers embraced the holiday theme by dressing in festive red and green attire, bringing plenty of color and cheer to camp despite the foggy weather. The misty morning gave camp a cozy atmosphere, and while a few light sprinkles passed through during the day, they didn't dampen anyone's excitement.

The day started with a delicious breakfast of fluffy pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, giving everyone the perfect start before heading off to activities. At lunchtime, campers enjoyed a favorite meal of crispy chicken tenders, onion rings, and rich, chocolatey brownies for dessert.

Our CREW campers hiked up Stone Mountain, covering almost 10 miles of trails. This hike might have been difficult, but that didn't stop the CREW campers from having a blast.

As the evening approached, everyone gathered for a fun cookout featuring hearty brisket sandwiches, a meal that was the perfect way to end an adventurous day. After dinner, campers made their way to one of the most beloved traditions of the session—Campfire! Each cabin took the stage to perform either a creative skit or an energetic dance, filling the evening with laughter, applause, and unforgettable memories.
