We had such an amazing first full day up on the mountain! After a delicious breakfast, we all headed back to our cabins for cabin clean-up. Then it was time for the first activity period of the day! Campers were riding horses, jumping in the pool, scaling the climbing walls, and playing all kinds of sports like volleyball, tennis, and dodgeball. It was a busy morning packed with fun!

Once our first two activities wrapped up, we met for lunch and enjoyed chicken patties and crispy tetris tots. After lunch and some much-needed rest, we headed off to our next two afternoon activities. Whether it was arts and crafts, hiking, or more sports, there was something for everyone. Then, campers had some cabin time to relax and bond with their new friends.

As the sun began to set, we made our way to the dining hall for dinner—tacos and churros, anyone? It was a delicious end to a fantastic day. Just when we thought things couldn’t get any more exciting, two sneaky spies flew in to announce our evening program: Spy Hunter!!! We closed out the night with a beautiful vespers presentation from the Pawnee cabin, and a special Milestone Ceremony for our 5-year campers. We can’t wait for another amazing day of camp tomorrow!
