Wednesday 6/10

What a delicious start to the day! Campers enjoyed pancakes and sausage for breakfast today, along with strawberries. Congratulations to the impressive 6 cabins who did a great job cleaning up their cabins and won honor cabin. Unfortunately, Chippewa was today's Dirty Lil'.

The fog cleared over night, so campers could enjoy the view during transitions between activities. For lunch, campers had one of the most liked meals at camp: chicken tenders, onion rings, and peas. Our CREW campers returned from their hike to Stone Mountain in the afternoon and jumped straight into the pool. During cabin time, campers worked with their porch to create a skit or dance for the evening program.

The clear skies didn't stick around long. It started raining just before our dinner cook out, so campers demonstrated their ability to be adaptable by transitioning to an indoor cook out. Today's evening program was Campfire. Each porch showed off their skit or dance for the whole camp to watch. Our male staff members even put together a dance. These skits and dances were super creative and got lots of laughs. Some cabins chose to finish out the day by sleeping under the stars.
