Our day at camp started off with campers settling into their cabins and meeting their new counselors. Each cabin participated in a rotation where they got a cabin picture taken, and campers completed the swim test. After drying off, campers returned, all dressed up in wacky tacky outfits, to the hill by the dining hall for a cookout. Hot dogs were served along with salad, chips, and Oreos. While finishing up the meal, campers danced to the music. Our evening program today was Counselor Hunt, where the senior counselors hid around camp. Cabins searched all over camp for the counselors. After the evening program, campers got a sweet treat from the store. To finish the day off, campers watched the opening ceremony, where senior counselors shared the values of Cheerio.
