Tuesday 6/9

Tuesday 6/9

Our chilly, foggy day started with some delicious chocolate and blueberry muffins, cereal, and raspberry yogurt. Then campers returned to their cabins to clean them up and make them ready for the new day. The fog didn't stop our campers from enjoying various fun activities around camp, like tennis and climbing.

For lunch, campers enjoyed meatball sandwiches topped with cheese, along with potato chips. With bellies full of a delicious meal, campers headed back to their cabins for some much needed rest after a fun morning. Afterwards, campers had 2 more activity periods, such as basketball and archery. A few campers even braved the chilly lake. While our campers who were supposed to have riding weren't able to safely ride the horses, that didn't prevent those campers from having a blast playing games.

Our campers reunited with their cabins for cabin time. Some played mini golf while others competed against each other to be the next gaga ball champion. For the last meal of the day, campers were served lasagna, dinner rolls, and veggies. The evening program for the day was Dino Egg Hunt. Cabins searched the woods for watermelons that were hidden by our dinosaurs. If the cabins found the watermelons, the dinosaurs tried to protect their egg and chased after them. While both teams did a great job and found many of the watermelons, the black team was our champion. To finish off the day, campers enjoyed their treats from store and headed to Vespers.
