Wednesday 6/17

Wednesday 6/17

What a wonderful Wild West Wednesday!! We started this beautiful morning off with pancakes, sausage, and strawberries!! Our weather team then came in with some wild cow girls dancing to Cotton Eye Joe! The cow girls and Gar, our weather man, told us the day was going to be amazing, not too hot, not too cold, just right! And with clear skies too! As breakfast concluded, everyone hurried out of the dining to get straight to cabin clean up! Cabin cleanup was followed by first and second period activities that took place all around camp!

Soon it was lunch time! Campers headed straight to the dinning hall for a fan favorite..chicken tenders, onion rings, and brownies what a great lunch! During lunch our Swedish friends Gustav and Ingrid stopped by for a visit announcing our evening program as Campfire! It was soon time for extended rest period where campers had some time to relax and gear up for third and fourth period activities!

After third and fourth period activities, everyone headed back to their cabins to practice their skits or dance for Campfire tonight! They then went over to the field for cookout! Tonight we enjoyed sloppy joes, salad, chips, and Oreos! After dinner, everyone went to their cabins for one last practice before their big performances. Campers then grabbed their store and headed to the Champ for Campfire! We had some great performances featuring the Nut Song, a doll skit, and even skits about cabin clean up, so fun!

The sun soon set and everyone headed back to their cabins to get some much needed rest. It was an action packed day with even more fun to be had tomorrow!
