What a great start to 3G! We had such an amazing drop off this afternoon! After families left the mountain top, campers took their cabin photo and then put on their suits for the swim test! Following the swim test, everyone dressed in silly wacky tacky outfits and made their way over to cookout!

For cookout today we had some wonderful hot dogs as well as chili, coleslaw, cheese, ketchup, mustard, chips, salad, and of course... Oreos! During cookout we had a visit from the Great and Powerful Oz, Scarecrow, and Dorothy where they magically made all of the Junior Counselors disappear!! So that could only mean one thing...Counselor Hunt!

Campers spent the evening going around camp searching for the counselors! During the program campers were able to get a lay of the land and see where their activities will be taking place this week. Following evening program campers headed back to the gym for store!

During store, campers had the opportunity to pick either ice cream or candy, as well as soda or a water! They enjoyed their store outside, danced, and played some games before everyone headed back into the gym for an energizer and a special video introducing our Full Time Staff Members! As the sun set over the mountains, campers headed to our vespers area to talk about our camp values. Finally campers headed back to their cabins to rest up for a big week ahead.

We had such a great first day of 3G and are so excited to see what this week brings!
