Opening 2G day was a success! We had an amazing time welcoming all of our campers today and getting an awesome start to the session. After everyone got checked in and settled into their cabins, we kicked off rotations—taking cabin pictures, completing swim tests, and playing fun get-to-know-you games with new cabin mates. It was amazing to see everyone meeting and seeing old friends from past summers reunite. We also had the arrival of our Girls Camp CIT's (Counselor's In Training) come this weekend, which was awesome. They are a great group and we can't wait to see how the summer unfolds with them with us :)

For dinner, we had a classic camp favorite: hot dogs and chips! After that, we headed into our evening program—Counselor Hunt! Each cabin searched high and low across camp to find their missing counselors, and the energy was electric as campers raced to spot as many as they could.

After the excitement, we gathered for our Opening Ceremony and Vespers. It was a meaningful way to set the tone for the week ahead and reflect on the values that make Cheerio so special. We’re so excited for all that’s to come—2G is here and we could not be more excited to get this week rolling!
